Recommended EBooks On Weight Loss And Low Fat Cooking

This is just a list of our favourite EBooks and programs for weight loss and low fat cooking, these may not necessarily be for air fryers.

We have included it just because there is so much information out there it is difficult to know what works best. If you are trying to lose weight, then motivation is one of the key factors to being successful. I know only too well, when faced with an incredibly decorated cupcake I really have to try it! I also know, one bite is unlikely to be enough….. It’s a bit like those diets that tell you not to shop every day but also not to deprive yourself of chocolate. Their suggestion is to buy a bag of mini bars. Might work for some, but for me, it’s like a siren going off in my head that they are there and ‘just one more’ won’t hurt will it?!

Anyway, enough of my ramblings, do have a look at any of these that you fancy as looking is free and some of them offer freebies as well.

Recommended Useful Items For Your Air Fryer

There are other useful and simple gadgets that work will with your air fryer, which ever model you own. Here are our recommendations based on current reviews. As the Tefal Actifry has been around for longer, we have included links for the spare parts that are most in demand as well.

So, moving on…. you may note from the following that it is assumed most people will make chips with their low fat air fryer, so these items are chip related!

Kitchen Craft Crinkle Chip Cutter £3.50

Not ever one wants square sided chips so this handy and cheap little item is a useful additional to your kitchen. It does just what you’d expect but requires a bit of an effort to push through so not for the weak wristed! Stainless steel construction with a black handle.

Kitchen Craft Potato Chipper £10.45

Cutting chips is boring and to get the most evenly cooked chips or fries a chipper will do the job effectively for you. Again you need a strong wrist as raw potatoes are pretty hard to get through even with the stainless steel blades! You could also use it for carrots and other root veg on the slim fries setting if you want which makes it more versatile and more of an excuse to get it! Does just what you expect it to do and as it is currently reduced from £15.95 it is probably a good investment.

Elgento White Potato Peeler £20.82

Now if you just don’t want to stand at the sink peeling potatoes, and particularly if you often have to peel large quantities at a time – what about getting a potato peeler? Peels up to 1KG of potatoes and has a see through lockable lid, salad sling to remove water, integrated cord & plug storage, rubber feet for a more stable base.  White in colour and now reduced from £29.99.

OXO Good Grips Y Peeler £3.99

This ‘Y’ Shape Peeler by Good Grips is ideal for peeling fruit and vegetables. Its swivel head allows it to neatly peel produce of varying sizes and shapes as well as slice thin ribbons of Parmesan cheese too. Non slip rubber handle and sharp stainless steel blade. Dishwasher safe, this peeler is a firm favourite with many celebrity chefs.

OXO Good Grips Swivel Peeler £3.99

If you don’t like the Y shaped peelers, this Swivel Peeler by Good Grips is also ideal. Its swivel head allows it to neatly peel produce of varying sizes and shapes as well as slice thin ribbons of Parmesan cheese too.  Again, the soft, comfortable non slip rubber handle cushions your hand as you peel, and is non-slip, even when your hands are wet. Dishwasher safe and another firm favourite with many celebrity chefs.

Now for the Tefal Actifry spares (click on the links for the best prices).

Tefal Actifry Lid far from cheap, but now reduced to £29.87 from £43.36 but much cheaper than buying a new machine!

Blade For Tefal ACTIFRY Air Fryer – Again sounds expensive at £25.99 but now reduced to £20.73… but if you need one….

On occasions it will be necessary to replace your Tefal Actifry Filter. This will obviously depend on how much you use your Actifry, but if it’s only once a year, £11.98 (RRP £17.50) isn’t too bad.

Sorry, not related, but I just love my new ‘find’! I gave up on cafetiere some time ago in favour of my expresso machine but now I’ve found these stainless steel insulated ones I’m hooked!
Contemporary highly polished 18/10 Stainless Steel Insulated Coffee Maker / Cafetiere (although you can get larger ones, this is just a 3 cup size for around £24
