Questions About Cooking In Your Air Fryer

I’ve just had an interesting question about cooking bread dough in the Philips so thought I’d post it up.

Cooking Bread Dough In The Philips

As you know, Philips suggest you can brown off pre-baked bread dough in your airfryer and do not actually say that you can cook bread dough. However, someone has seen this done on the Ideal World TV program but is unable to find any more information. They have tried it, but find the bread doughy inside (15 mins at 200 degrees). I’m going to give this a go myself and try it with wholemeal and rye breads.

If anyone else has attempting making bread in the Philips, please let us know how you got on.

Cheers

I’ve tried it, it works, but not quite as well as when baked in the oven. Bread in an air fryer may well be viable if you live on your own, but it’s a lot of work for a small loaf! Bake small loaves in the oven and freeze when just baked and reheat in the Air Fryer is probably the best bet. Great for rolls too!
